Add-ons
Modules shape what a Site shows. Add-ons extend what the server does: your own data, your own services,
your own rules.
Your tables
An Add-on brings its own database schema and migrates it on install and upgrade. Its data sits beside
the platform's without touching the core tables.
Your services
Payments, storage, jobs and integrations run inside the server as Add-ons, with their own settings,
secrets and roles per Site. A payment provider and S3 storage are built this way already.
Open or closed
The core is open source under the Apache License 2.0. An Add-on is your own code and may stay closed;
the server verifies every Add-on package against its recorded digest before it runs it.
